Liv studied at Sussex University, and later at King’s College London, specialising in Environmental Politics and Economics and then went on to qualify in Practical Horticulture at urban growing projects in London. Whilst in London Liv was working in various sustainability organisations that specialise in waste management. Wanting a taste of the "good life" she decided to pack up shop in London and try her hand at farming. Liv moved to Devon in 2015 and to Down Farm in 2016. She has been growing here since then as well as spinning a few other plates working for Organic Growers Alliance, Landworkers' Alliance and a few other part time roles! She lives at Down Farm with Henry and their children. Liv, Henry, Chloe and Josh met a few years back throughout the wider market gardening community in the South West. We have stayed in touch and over the years become friends. Chloe and Josh came to join Henry and Liv at Down Farm in 2022 an we have been working collaboratively since!
